Run by Newport Pagnell Town Council, Middleton Swimming Pool is a superb, modern complex comprising of a 33.3 metre pool along with a training pool for children and babies.
At Middleton Swimming Pool we also have a secluded garden with comfortable garden furniture, an ideal place for sunbathing on a hot summer's day.
The pool has a peaceful atmosphere and excellent staff to provide customers with a warm and friendly welcome.
Here at Middleton Swimming Pool we aim to provide outstanding facilities along with excellent levels of customer service, we achieve this through our wonderful team of staff.
In September 2007 we were awarded QUEST Highly Commended status with a score of 78%. QUEST is the UK Quality Scheme for Sport and Leisure. This award comes at the end of two years of continuous improvement when we were awarded QUEST Registered status in September 2005 with a score of 61%.
The team was assessed on criteria, covering items such as cleanliness of the building, maintenance of the building, plant and equipment, environmental control (temperature, lighting, ventilation), changing rooms, health and safety, customer relations, marketing and pricing, reception and administration.
Some of the Assessment comments were:
* "The level of cleanliness is visibly acceptable, taking due account of customer expectations. There are high standards of hygiene in critical areas. Customers are not put at risk or inconvenienced as cleaning takes place"
* "Maintenance is based on an effective preventative approach to ensure customer enjoyment and complete safety"
* "Changing rooms are comfortable, appropriate and clean. Changing rooms are inspected, cleaned and stocked and are family friendly"
* "The Centre has an up to date and specific Health and Safety policy and management programme. Management and the workforce are aware of and undertake their responsibilities in Health and Safety proactively. Customer and staff safety is a priority in all areas of the Centre"
* The overall impression was "a small friendly facility, clean and well maintained, with excellent customer information leaflets"

Directions from the M1
Come off the M1 at junction 14 and take the 3rd exit if coming from the south or the 1st exit if coming from the north.
Follow this road to the large roundabout and you will see a Land Rover dealership opposite you. Take the 2nd exit on to London Road, follow this over the mini roundabout on to Tickford Street.
Middleton Swimming Pool is situated opposite the BP Petrol Station on the left hand side.
